ARBOL VISTA ACRES is located in the scenic hills of Glenwood City, Wisconsin, approximately 45 minutes from the Twin Cities. We are a small, family-run facility that prides itself on providing individual care for our customers and their horses. Our facility is constantly improving. The large dairy barn was renovated in 1998 to create 10x12 box stalls. Our grass pastures are fenced with electric wire and wood. Individual turnouts are available with 4 foot metal panel fencing. In 2005 we added a 60x120 indoor riding arena with mirrors, insulated roof, and plenty of lighting. We also enjoy forty acres of groomed trails.
Jim & Julie Manor
Jim and Julie created Arbol Vista Acres in 1999. Julie Manor has had a lifetime of experience riding and showing horses, and received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in 1995. She continues to seek information and instruction in her own riding skills to pass on to her students. Currently, she is showing Fourth Level (schooling Prix St. Georgel movements) with her own gelding, Remington Xpress and received the USDF Bronze medal in 2009. Her other gelding, Stuart Tarleton, that she acquired in 2008, is currently showing 1st and 2nd level. Jim tries to stay away from the barn for the most part... but he did grow up with "hay burners", and has a way of working with young horses on the trail, exposing them to new situations with patience and persistance.
